The spare lines of this chair are constructed with mortise & tenon joinery. These maple saplings were harveseted in the heat of summer when the bark easily peels from the tree. I came upon a very interesting sapling that I built the chair around. This back right leg makes the chair look as if it truly just stepped out of the forest!
