Bluestone & Birch End Table

The base of this table is made of juvenile White Birch saplings. Typically, "White Birch" or "Paper Birch" saplings display this deep mahogany through honey color until they are about two and a half inches in diameter. The joinery in this piece is made by overlapping the branches and
nailing them with bronze ring-shank boat nails and steel screws. the bluestone
top was chosen because of it's wonderful color and topography.
